TCRA, the telecoms regulatory authority of Tanzania, announced on 11 October 2022 the results of the multiband spectrum auction. Bidders competed for spectrum in the bands 700 MHz, 2.3 GHz, 2.6 GHz and 3.5 GHz.
The auction on 11 October 2022 saw five participants. Four of these became spectrum winners. And these are the detailed results:
In 2018, Tanzania distributed four 2×5 MHz blocks in the 700 MHz band also in an auction, with which Specure assisted.
