Auction Partnership Programme

Add spectrum auctions to your consulting practice.

If you already advise regulatory bodies, the gap between advising on an auction and delivering one is a platform, a testing regime and someone who has sat through a live auction before. The partnership programme supplies all three.

How it works

  1. Application and onboarding

We look at where your practice already operates and which regulators you work with, and agree where a partnership makes sense.

  2. Capability building

Your team is trained on the platform and on the auction formats, so you can run the software rather than sub-contract it back to us.

  3. Customer acquisition

You lead the client relationship. We support bids and tender responses with the technical detail and references that procurement asks for.

  4. Project delivery

You deliver, with us behind you for the parts that only get exercised once per auction — format implementation, validation and the live event itself.

Who this is for

Consultancies, not resellers

This is not a reseller arrangement. It suits firms that already carry credibility with regulators — in spectrum valuation, auction design, bid strategy or telecoms policy — and want to answer “can you also run it?” with yes.

We have worked this way for years. Belgium, both Finnish auctions, Montenegro’s 2022 award and the Portuguese consultancy were delivered in consortium with Auctiometrix, a spin-off of Erasmus University Rotterdam. Tanzania and Montenegro’s 2015–17 auction were delivered with Coleago Consulting, and both Croatian auctions as a consortium with KPMG. In Tanzania, Coleago held the main contract and we delivered the software and the live auction beneath it.

What you get

The parts that are hard to build

  • The platform — with pre-configured SMRA and CCA templates
  • Format implementation — including rules written from scratch
  • Validation and testing against the auction rules
  • Mock auctions and bidder training material
  • Live auction support from people who have done it before
  • References procurement will accept

Tell us where you already work

The first conversation is about which regulators you have relationships with and what they are planning. Everything else follows from that.
